Are pump filter bags OK in AP systems? I started using them and maybe unsurprisingly seem to have more solids in the tank now. |

Perhaps they reduced the flow too much, so the SLO could not do it's job... |

No SLO because it's my indoor setup with glass tanks. Funny you should reply because the last time I spent much time on the forums you were digging to set up your system. How often do you check your pump for clogging? Can you pull it out of the IBC? I just reviewed your setup last night and it looks great. I've been having pump issues since switching from gravel to hyrdoton. |

I haven't checked for clogs in some time, but every time I look into my sump, it is pretty clean. |
