Hello Everyone, Was not sure if this was the best place to post this question. I am looking for a second greenhouse, I now own a Rion Majestic with the 6mm walls 6.7 ft x 12.6 ft. I was wondering if anyone has had a good experience with another greenhouse brand. I was leaning towards either a Riga or another Rion that is a little larger. I live in Zone 7 an we do have windy conditions at times and looking to do year round aquaponics in it. Looking for any opinions or advice before I take the plunge. ![]() Thank you |

Holly, A high tunnel is a pretty easy design. Don't know any specific brands, but once you bend your first tubing, the rest in pretty simple...duplication. very easy to cover with poly or shade cloth. Easy to walk and work, and among the least expensive designs. I would assume they shed snow very well too. I'm in Florida, so that's not a concern for us.lol |

I don't have one but the Harbor Freight greenhouses are inexpensive and seem to be OK if you mod them with more bracing etc. If you sign up for their email they send 20% off coupons occasionally. http://www.harborfreight.com/lawn-garde ... plies.html |

Thank you both, I was thinking a tunnel and the harbor freight but I do not think they will handle the crazy winters of nor'easters we have up here at times.. If something did happen to them it would not be a big deal but I would need something to handle 60mph winds with the once to twice a year storms an the 45mp more common storms. That's what I was thinking another Rion or if anyone had knowledge on the Riga GH |

With closer supports, HH's can withstand 60 plus mph http://www.heartspring.net/greenhouse_l ... esign.html http://www.poly-tex.com/high_tunnels.ht ... 7Aod4FgAiA |
