Hey everyone, I was wondering if there was any guidelines for rubber sealers on homemade Grow beds and Fish tanks. I know you cant use toxic chemicals, but how can you know what isnt going to effect your plants, fishes and ultimately your intake of both, in a negative way. My plan is to make both beds and fishtanks by hand. I have a lot of experience building boats and random small projects with fiber glass. Does anyone know of anyone using fiberglass with none toxic sealers? Or in general how they made sure that there would be no toxins released in the long run. Im also considering building wooden beds and tanks with a rubber liner, that I have been reading about here on the forum. Im fresh to the AP world but, I was introduced by my girl friend who visited a Vineyard Church that had a pretty big AP operation in colorado. I did some research and I fell in love with the idea of having a garden that grows of the biproduct of fish- that you can eat! Im very hands on so I would like to build my own design inspired by the myriad of systems out there. Thank-you for reading this, Mack |
