So I have been reading a whole bunch about different pond liners and I read a post about how billboard material is the same as dura-skrim. ok IF it is thats great but my next thing is the ink that is used to print on it, wouldn't that leach into your GB? Has anyone used old billboard material and or know why you shouldn't? |

I believe it has been discussed. The problem that people had, I believe, was not the ink, they used the back side, but that it was hard to find without holes in it. |

ok see the thing I think about with the back side is what about the glue they use to put it up? Is that safe too? |

I think they just hang Durascrim taught on billboards as they are meant to be changed easily. I have been wrong before though... Most folks around here love to reuse stuff, however, from what I have seen, going new on bed liners is wise. Nothing worse than noticing a pinhole leak after the gravel has been loaded in. Then having that pinhole leak get worse. |

The price of going big. That is still probably less than using IBCs though... |

Yeah I mean I am getting 256 sq/ft of grow beds out of it so less than $2 a sq/ft but still. I did just luck out and found a guy here with 250gal totes for $50 only used once so I guess I can save there and spend more in liner. |
