Don't know if this would be of interest or a sufficiently good deal, but GraysOnline has some big solar panel sell off going on at the moment.

Be very careful about bidding though. There are major hidden costs involved. e.g. the 2.9kW system with bonus installation has a $309 tag beside it now, but check the details and you find...
ENTER POSTCODE: (mine is 3550)
Q2 Solar Costs: $ 2,735.31 Payable by winning bidder in addition to the bid price
Your Solar Zone: Zone 4
Federal Government STC Credits: 51
Prices exclude GST & Offer is subject to Terms & Conditions

$3,000 (approx, depends on final bid) still sounds cheap, but there are further conditions attached, such as assigning your Govt credits to Q2 or else pay for the install, and GST to be added on purchase, installation and freight.

And don't forget the 15% GraysOnline fee on the purchase price.

Oh, I went there all hot and eager... I looked at the systems and almost wet myself. But then the Scottish and Jewish ancestors nudged me and I thought, "no way! Too good to be true!"

THEN I found the catch... :D

I thought Grays was better policed than that. Those 'deals' are about the equivalent of the old door-to-door encyclopedia salesman.
