I've been searching for days to find a low power (less than 6 watts) 12V air pump. The one that tickles my fancy is the "b-15 power bubbles" by Marine Metal. Here is a link: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Marine-Metal- ... 5/20753300 However every site that I've tried to buy it through either: 1) Doesn't ship internationally 2) Is out of stock 3) Claims that my credit card billing address doesn't match what I typed in (it does) 4) Claims that this item is internationally restricted Has anyone found a source for a 12V low power air pump? Tearing my hair out here. |

Thanks for the link, but all of those pumps are way too hungry for me. They're all 20 watts or higher. If anyone else is trying to do this, then finally here is the one I managed to buy: http://www.boatstoreusa.com/outriggers- ... air-stone/ Cost around $100 including shipping. This one runs at less than 4 watts apparently, so I'll see how it goes when it arrives. |

Not sure where you got that figure from, I get 30 gallons per hour which is around 120 litres/hr... http://www.shopping.com/th-marine-pro-a ... HcA==/info Seems about right to me. |

So that's only 1.88 L/min..... not very much.... you could probably get the same... blowing through a straw (Initially I read it as 30gall/min...) |
