How do I go about connecting PVC piping to my 183 EcoPlus pump. Any help?

I am currently using a 1/2 Rubber Tubing.

Does the barb fitting screw off? if so replace it with a pvc slip/tread. If not get a barg to slip adapter.

Any idea where to find those pieces. Since the pump uses a 3/8 piece I need to be able to open that to a 1/2 in or whatever slip.

I used an irritation reducing bushing to go from threaded PVC to smaller threaded irrigation barb. All parts available at the B (homedepot equivalent) but you have to visit different sections. Just make sure u are using the right threads in the right parts.

If its as simple as removing the current barb fitting and replacing it with a PVC (male thread to female slip) fitting then any hardware store should have it. But if you need barb adapters try Lowes or Ace hardware they carry a decent supply of barb fittings. You can also try a tropical fish store, they work on pumps like these regularly and should have what you need.
