Would it be ok to use an IBC that has had Urea in it? Or would it continue to leach ammonia and cause issues? |

Urea is highly soluble in water, so I'd doubt that IBC plastic would adsorb too much, if any. A good wash with clean water should suffice. CAUTION: Urea + water = ammonia! Wear PPE and work in a well ventilated space. When you're done, fill with clean water and do an ammonia test. Wait 24 hours and repeat the test. |

ehem.. Well, I knew what Urea was.... I read the MSDS to be sure there was no other nasties in a bulk container of the stuff.... looked good and satisfied my beleifs. I felt confident. But the truth is..... I just wanted to be sure. Lucky there is a forum of legends I know of...... that knows stuff. No set up |
