Hi guys, I need to paint the cover on my tank but am concerned about toxic nasties leaching into my system. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced food/fish safe paint for a galvanised steel mesh tank cover ? Thanks Paul. |

Unless the galv is submersed (which wouldnt be wise anyway) you should be ok. But for piece of mind I would go for a fish safe epoxy paint, go on a google adventure and Im sure you will find something. Ryan used some to coat the inside of his DWC beds. |

I've used this product for building aquariums with wood. It should work on metal as well. http://www.permadri.com/pond-coat.html |
