I was going to build my own grow beds, but found it cheaper to use IBC's. I can get them for anywhere from 50 to 75 bucks, and one will make a grow bed that is 8'X over 3 feet. |

thanks guys for fixing and trying to fix me post. This is for my buddies system. We just finished mine. I think we can get IBCs for $35 but we still need to purchase materials to raise those. We are Trying to stay on budget with this one -mine was 1/3 over. I like IBCs; getting 2 grow beds from each and easier plumbing work, but it is his system. Any experience with the cheapest way to raise IBCs 34 or so"? |

$50 worth of 4x4 lumber and some screws. If that fits his budget: http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=318906#p318906 And you can actually get 8'x3 1/2' if you cut the IBCs like I did-just a little shallower. |
