hi guys:

I tested my filtered water and has PH 7 green in my ph tester

used the same gravel and add some gravel from my bed and it was bumped to over 8 blue on the ph tester

my tap water was navy blue also

my concern is this going to go down?

what do I need to do? how much days do I need till this goes down or river gravel never lowers the ph

you can check your gravel to see if it's causing the problem by putting some of it in a container with some vinegar.. if it bubbles, then the media is causing the high ph.. if it doesn't bubble, it's safe to use, and your ph will come down on it's own..
