anyone tried using an airlift compared to a pump to move your water in your system |

Sounds too high for an air lift. They typically only lift a few inches. |

as they have said 4-6 feet.. not a chance.. I have raised water 12" but that is with 70l/min of air and I can't say what the final flow rate was.. 4-6 inches will pump about 10,000-15,000 lt/min Juergen |

actually after some redesign to my planned system i would only need 1 foot of lift with a gallon or 2 per min of flow |

ive managed to lift water 20 inches with a small aquarium airpump to test the theory but with a small flow rate ill try using finer bubbles once i get some more parts to test with |

If you haven't been following the link earlier in the thread, there is talk of a stepped airlift. If you've got the parts lying around to tinker with, jump on the idea and let us know what you come up with. |
