I have previously looked around for green house suppliers in Australia and have not had much success especially finding one that is based in WA.

Today I found and add in the Sunday Times for a machinary shelter compay and noticed that they also do shade houses. The web site seems to indicate that they are Australia wide and can do any of their shelter frames in shade cloth or hothouse plastic too. They seem fairly cheap @ $1100 for a L7.1m x W3.73 x 2.6m structure, see link

Is this a good price?

Does anyone else have links to greenhouse suppliers?

Very hard to find greenhouse suppliers here in W.A., none seem to have websites with prices, and of course when you search for "Greenhouse" you get a lot of links about other things.. :dontknow:

I did see the shelter station mob at a garden show we were at. They looked pretty reasonable, fairly thick plastic, fairly stable..

We have just bought one of these, hasn't turned up yet but the guy was pretty helpful and the freight was cheap enough.

It looks solid enough in the photos but I will let you know what its like when we get it. Should be this week...

 They are a little bit more expensive for the size but from the photos they do look like superior construction and more durable, probably better value in the long run. Interested to see what you think when it arrives.

Greenhouse turned up today. :D

Frame looks pretty strong, polycarbonate panels are thinner than I imagined but should be fine.
Will attempt to build it on saturday, sure is a lot of pieces. May have to rethink my policy on reading instructions.

It was a fair bit cheaper than the price on the website so it might pay to call him.
Will post photos/comments on the weekend.

Hi Simo, I looked at them before i built my Greenhouse and nearly went with it because of the wind suvivability factor compared to a actual manufactured greenhouse, why not have a go at doing it yourself for the same price you can expect a bigger house or if you have a set size spare money to fill it

Okay, so we didn't quite get it finished this weekend.

It is pretty well made for the price. The frame is strong enough and the panels lock in tightly. Hopefully it doesn't blow away before I get a chance to finish it next weekend...

All finished. :D

No real dramas putting it up, mango tree now has no excuse for not fruiting.

Don't mean to be a party pooper but I have seen one of these setups at a customers house, it had a couple of broken panels on it and it was not that old.

Yeah I guess you get what you pay for, it was pretty cheap.

Not sure how the panels could "break", they're pretty flexible. :dontknow: The panels are numbered and you can buy replacements.

I think it should do what we want it to do without too much fuss. I still reckon it's pretty reasonable if you're on tight budget.
