Here is a quick vid of my fish feeder I'm making,

It's made using a car locking actuator, that pulls a slide that opens a hole in the pvc endcap.

Two timers are used, timer 1 is used to supply timer 2 with power for x amount of time, in this instance its about 10 sec. Timer 2 is set to pulse on and off at x intervals of time, which is now set too .8 of a second.

The only thing I need is a 12v dc plugpack hooked upto a 24h timer that will activate my timers 3 times a day to feed the fish

nice one, thinkin of making a screw one myself, using an old cordless drill and some other bits an bobs

Well its in and working,

Few possible flaws iv thought about....

- Rubber Band Breaks and leaves chute open (Will Replace with a spring)
- Filling with too much feed in the event of an malfunction it would over feed way too much....

to Combat this it will hold a maximum of 2 days feed that way if it was to malfunction it wont be a HSM....

Got it setup to feed 3 times a day and it is throwing around 120 Grams Per Feed which works out to be around 360g per day which is 4% feeding. they are smashing the feed.

Feed is Skretting Spectra 5mm Feed.
