Another ingeniously simple BYAP solution

all you gotta do is look down the standpipe as you twist it to gauge which hole is aligned - by the flow/spurt :bigsmurf:

Good one kenny. Now the challenge will be seeing where the holes are once the fitting is in the bed. Suppose you could feel for it and mark the standpipe top to show where those ones are :-) Good idea buddy.

You just line up the hole you want with the seam in the plastic ;)

hahaha, yeah I had a moment in B when I just cracked up, a real laugh out loud moment where you check around you to make sure no one's giving you the look... :P

In the end found them in a hardware store I didn't know existed, what better is that it's like 4 blocks away from my house, and the drills were 7c cheaper than B! Think I'll go back there

Yep, B has them in the plumbing section, I use the 40mm version, they are called a "40mm pug and waste", cost about 8 bucks I think.

OK! Now I'm bloody convinced that this place is full of AP'ers...

You think it's set up! I THINK IT'S SET UP!!! :P It was today (Friday) after work, the last thing I was thinking about was mulling around in B setting up gag photos! The only thing on my mind was getting the hose clamps I needed and getting home to the slab of Corona's in the fridge!

I was looking for a while, found some metal ones for about $20 or so, and at this stage was getting a bit of B-RAGE (you know, when you can't find something you know should be right in front of you and there doesn't seem to be any staff around!). Then I saw the empty cage up in the top corner of the plumbing gear, then read the description and thought to myself "You HAVE to be taking the pi$$!".

Our B is gearing up to move soon, so I'm used to them not having stock in, but this is getting ridiculous...

On a positive note, I ordered a bunch of seeds from The Diggers Club today! The lady who we bought this house off used to work at St Erth (which I only found out is involved with the Diggers Club)! By the looks of all the stuff self seeding around this joint, she must have 'borrowed' an awful lot of stuff when she worked there :P So well on my way! Getting to the excited part now, I can almost taste my first failed crop and dead fingerlings :P (MUST THINK POSITIVE! )

I think my wife would shoot me if I took a camera into B, she hates me going there as it is and wouldn't be able to cope if she saw some photos on the computer!
