I like left field.....

My vote is venturi drain..... :D

My reason being......

OK! OK! Couldn't resist

My real vote is Poo Sucking Drain or even Solids Sucking Drain. It is essentially a drain. The reason for installing such a type of drain is for sucking up solids. Every word describes exactly what it does.

I do like the idea of an acronym. PSD or SSD or even PS Drain. In FAQ can be found a list of acronyms with CAREFULLY explained descriptions. Even with pics if needed. Save newbies a lot of pain - and those who are so patient in explaining - a lot of time. These expanations should be open to discussion for a while because I found some descriptions assumed more knowledge than I initially had as a total newbie.

Remember something. Ignorance should not be mistaken for stupidity. Ignorance is quickly sorted with enough questions. Some newbies are intimidated with the idea of being thought stupid in asking. I don't have that problem.... :D Secure enough to ask.

So.... let the newbies vet the descriptions. Save everyone a lot of time in the end.

And you thought you got yourself into ONE vote Steve?

Except that drain doesn;t sufficiently describe the fact that it's an overflow rather than a drain... This could just keep on going and going....

Sealed overflow. Because it only removes solids if the inlet goes down to the bottom. Then it becomes a Crap Vac Overflow. CVO :D

Hahahha... actually it's an Overflow Standpipe.....

When it has a secondary sleeve to lift solids... its a Waterlift Assisted Overflow Standpipe....

If it was air injected.. it'd be an Airlift Assisted Overflow Standpipe...

I propose we change the name of poo to hadron.

just so we can call it the large hadron collider
