Nah doing a bunch of maths doesnt always translate into the real world.
a real test needs to be done, well multiple.

With out the maths you can't work out the efficiency.

The physics and associated calculations allow you to compare apples with apples other wise you can only compare if all but one variable is identical. Almost impossible in the real world.

Using maths is fine, but maths without the real world tests to prove the maths right is nothing but a figment of the human imagination.

Do the maths, but do the actual tests too. You even said it yourself, the real world throws variables at you that maths doesnt take into account, therefore making the maths inaccurate anyway.

I can't believe I just wasted nearly 50mins, and it *frack* well annoyed me. I would not go to a presentation like that if they paid me.

Ehh...the idea is that you pay them.

As far as I could tell its a hybrid geyser pump; it should have taken 5 min max with diagrams and measurements. Still pissed off.

It is different but yes a decent diagram and about 5mins should do it.

If you are talking about the link i posted, yes its long, yes the manner in which they talk is annoying, but its a webinar.... not a little educational video, it is long because it is basically a university seminar over the internet.... there is question time at the end, etc, etc.

its just a seperate syphon barrel for syphoning multiple beds at once.
i.e no syphons in the beds, the barrel controls water level and the syphon.

its not the idea that makes the video bad, its the slow talking and the going over the most basic thing 40 times.

Oh, I thought that you meant that despite it being bad there was a gem of an idea.

Well its not an idea i had seen before, it seemed pretty good to me when i first saw it.
Im pretty sure it would seem like a gem to many others that dont know about it yet.
