Well fishing can still happen it will jusd be a bit harder because it is likely that the rivers and creeks will be flowing again. Having said that it wasn't a huge amount so they may not be.

Now that I've finished having to be around for babies to be born and stuff I may be available on a Saturday or Sunday. Things is though is that now it is getting cooler I need to get some fire wood in. Currently I've got about a wheel barrow load so a day or two in the forest is a must as soon as I can organise a trailer.

Re uniseals how many and what size/s?

My man says he's getting them in in the next day or so, he got onto some1 who said 'oh I don't know why they weren't sent to you' pfffft!
i need 25mm pressure, but as I said, I think I've got them already. in a future past tense kind of way.
Fishing would be great. I'd love to come up. I could maybe help out with a trailer and chainsaw if you were in great need too ;-)

im not getting enough water supplied thru the 1" i have on the inlet to GB from SLO , so i figured i would move up to a 2" on the horizontal pipe

If you plumb through a 1" uniseal, you are only gonna get the flow that can go through the 1" pipe going though the uniseal. It doesn't really matter what size pipe it is connected to, the smallest pipe is gonna be your limiting factor.

If you can't make a bigger hole and plumb in a larger pipe there, look into putting another uniseal through the tank and hook things together once inside the greenhouse. Then you just have two drains instead of the one.

Welcome, just the entertainment tech type problem solving. What that door isn't big enough, well cut another one then that is  What that truck isn't big enough, well then cut the set in half and get another truck. (ya just gotta hope you get on a tour where the set designer understands the normal size of doors so ya don't have to do that much cutting.)

Tricky part will be balancing the flows if you don't couple them inside the greenhouse but if they both feed into the same larger pipe inside, then you should be good.

Of course, the shorter the 1" length is the less effect it will have. or to use TC's metaphore, if the small truck doesn't have to go as far, it can do the job faster by making more trips. Of course it will still be slower than a big truck over the same distance.
Two trucks will do fine if 1 is too slow.

I doubt you'll have any difficulty balancing the flows. especially if they're going the same place.

Actually, the friction is mostly what limits water: if you have a 6" length of 1" pipe it will slow the water far less than a 10' length of 1" pipe. So having a short section in a length of larger stuff is better than having it all small. (Speaking from experience  )

Has anyone installed any 1 1/4" uniseals? I had real trouble getting the pipe in. It was defiantly to small. I had to cut the pipe so I could squeeze the tip in then I had to drive it in with a hammer. It bulged the tank out when I drive it in.

I would not recommend this size! Its wrong.

I"ve noticed that the larger sizes are definitely harder to push through especially with either thick tank material or if the material you are pushing through is flexible. I can usually push the smaller sizes (smaller than 1") through most materials all on my own but when it comes time to push 1 1/2" pipe through a uniseal, I usually call the cook to help me (especially since I always seem to be putting them through in difficult locations and angles.)
