The system I'm working on now will have some sort of HSM cooling. The three options IO'm looking at are :

-exchanging cold dam water with system water, moderate amount of pipe, pump, and unknown power use;
-heat pump, small amont of pipe, expensive hardware (relatively) and unknown power use; and
-the option we have been discusing recirculating water through pipe sunk in the dam (40' deep), lot o pipe, small pump (hopefully), realtvely little power use (hopefully).

When I say hopefully I'm not really fussed either way I just want to know which is the most economical.
