i was having agressiveness problems with my jades and silver.........part of this i attribute to having a low stocking density, as when i had 22 silvers they all schooled and were never agressive, where as with 6 jades and one silver they're CONSTANTLY going for each other.

Second problem is the lighting, becasue i have some plant growing on a floating raft above the tank the lights are on about 14 hours per day, and quite a bit gets though the thin white styrene.

I've since put some pvc pipes in there (kills the look though) and the seem happier with hidy holes :)

The stuff I have is black and I actually don't like it that much. It is too hard to see what the fish are doing (gravel in the bottom helps a lot), and I wonder how the fish keep from bumping into the sides at night.

We will be wrapping the senior student's IBC in black plastic to give them a darker environment, then thinking of covering the black with white shadecloth to reduce the amount of heat ...

AM, go to a hydro shop and buy some "panda plastic" its white on one side and black on the other.

Tell them what you're using if for..............."yeh.............sure mate......fishtanks...........uh-huh....wink wink". LOL :)
