I'm using poly, and 50mm fittings are a $lot more than 32mm! ... and unjustified for this system. The only 50mm in use is the SLO. With my new larger system, currently in the planning stage, I will be using much larger pipe for pumping up the hill from ST to FT, maybe 2 X 63 or 80mm, I'll have to do some price comparisons.

nuff said. Huge difference 50mm poly fittings cost a fortune. I just did a rough budget for a irrigation system using poly instead of PVC got a big reminder on how much they cost.
