Ok,

Got my ultrasonic mist maker.

Time to set up my differnt hydro method setup.

will have fish tomorrow
will put them in a spa bath in the shed, heated to...... well as close to 24C as i can get in winter :)

Will pipe water to the tubs. One DWC, one flood and drain, and one Aero.

Will post pics by sunday (i hope)

By the way. if anyone gets one of those ultrasonic mist makers, and reads the instructions, and sees the bit that says "Do not place finger over ceramic disc as it will hurt you".............heed the warning :)

I'm a sucker for havig to prove things..........i only just placed my finger in the water about 30mm above the ceramic transducer......OOOOOOUCH!
But no, i did it a second time too. :compress:

now my finger feels all hot and stings :) I guess thats the effect of your fingernail vibrating at around 50 thousand times per second

"why is it that when some one says there are a billion stars in the sky we believe them, but if we see a sign that says wet paint we need to check for ourselves" :)

OUCH, it really hurts now.

haha maybe because it would take to long to check if there are 6 billion stars. Whereas putting your finger in the water only takes a second and hurts for hours hehehe

Cheers,

Duncan.
