yeah but how much power will I get out of a blower fan compared to a pump? I need enough pressure in the air line to stop water coming in. I don't think the blower will be able to do that. one way air valves might be the only other option I have, either that or an air stone of some sort that won't let much water into the line.

This project has taken far too long, for anyone that remembers, I've been building a wind powered aerator. I'd had a few probelms building the air pump part of the project but it's all sorted out now(pics later). Now all I have to do is rebuild the turbine so it has enough torque to move the pump. The previous turbine is too small compared to the pump I have built... I hope my fishies like bubbles.

I don't mean to hijack the thread......in my mind this is related in regard to the battery technology.

If mods thinks it needs its own topic I understand.

A battery powered, world class, drag motorcycle.

I caught a clip on the tele last night and it was incredible to see. And very quiet.

Reading the progression of the thread was fascinating.
I confess, I'm not reading the entirety, so-- I may have missed something.

A wind turbine that looks fabulous, at least from the specs, and the 'vid' is the Honeywell wind turbine.

I don't know if they're available in AU. I do know they aren't Chinese manufactured.
