I'm liking these pumps. The bigger one has a much higher maximum rate at low head - but drops real quick as head gets higher. The cheaper one has a real gradual drop as head gets higher. I'll measure up the shed again 2moro. I know the guttering is at about 3.7 metres. If I have the collector fairly low on the roof, I may be able to keep the top of the high point of the collector at about 4.5 metres. Using the more expensive pump I would get 27lpm as opposed to 18lpm for the cheaper one. I'd be inclined therefore to go for the more expensive one.

F&F - do you have any idea how big and heavy these suckers are. I'd be interested in knowing approx how much they would cost to send to Brisbane. I starting to think my heating issues may be on their way to being fixed. Excellent.
