Silver perch grow very well in tanks..... I have a tank full of them now and they have been growing very well, even when the temoerature gets right down to 10 degrees lately they have still been feeding.. When Barra get to 10 degrees they are just about dead...

sO TRUE, i ALMOST LOST MINE DUE TO VERY COLD WATER... AT 15c THEY STOP FEEDING TOO!
