I recently purchased a number of 1000l flat pack round water tanks on special, these had a ldpe liner already in them similar to a square goon bag in design, what i am chasing is a supplier of hdpe or other suitable material custom liners as i am unable to find a suitable adhesive for the liners available any suggestions would be appreciated

After contacting every supplier in Brisbane only one returned my emails and quoted $240 with underlay and fittings + gst and freight, seems a good price, and i was impressed with their rapid response and volume of info supplied. Has anyone ever dealt with fabric solutions

What do you need "" a suitable adhesive for the liners"" for.. :dontknow:

Is the liner not in the form of a snug-fit bladder, and so your only task under AP is the provide outlets through the tank wall..

This could be done without real adhesive.. by clamping with seals etc..

I was told of that "Special" but they were not as generous down here.. :support: :-)
..
.

BTW - LDPE - effectively, swimming pool liner??? so there are supposed to be pool glues

PS - $240 for a replacement liner, makes for an expensive tank..
I would be looking at GumTree for old water tanks and use the flat packs as GB's
..

The liners from fabric solutions are welded reinforced polypropylene with a 20 year life span, the chance i could fabricate a guaranteed leak proof flat round to cylinder join would be very unlikely. The main advantage i saw with the poly flat packs was the small boxed footprint so i can keep a few aside for later expansion without irritating the boss that the yard is full of empty ibcs.
