Hi all, I have been reading a lot about swirl filters. I just want to keep this REALLY simple. Here's what I'm thinking. I was thinking about putting my filter from the FT to the ST. My system pumps from the ST to the garden beds and the FT. My ST has sludge in it so now that I have cleaned out my FT and I can actually see the bottom. SO! after reading the forum I just want to ask is the system of I have attached is ok.

I think most would say the ideal way to work it would be Fish Tank to Filter to Grow bed and then to sump before going back to the fish. Your way will pass suspended solids through the sump tank and some will go back to the fish. Your way will work but is not ideal.
