Good morning. A quick question, can the submersible aquarium type heater that suction to the side of the tank be safely used against the plastic IBC liner? Any danger of melting the sides of the tank?

As long as there is ample water flow in your IBC there should be no reason for concern.

Even without flow I think it'd still be safe.

I use them in my brewing tanks during winter (HDPE), never had a problem
