Can anyone recommend a reasonable brand of digital scales for a good price? There is soooo many different types on ebay and I just don't know what a goodie is.



Ill need something that can handle 9kg trout...

The ones i have that i bought the other day came out of a fishing set with a knife and pliers etc. It was more pricey than what Rup has shown, but you get all the extra goodies. It is good for 50lbs from memory. I can get the brand if you want mate?

N.B ... although expressed as "lbs".... you can set imperial or metric... good to 25kg...

Yep same as the one i got. Advantage of the type that rup put up is that it can be used for anything over mine with a hook...

The advantage of the scales I posted.... is that you can "tare" them... which makes it easy to us a container for things... and get an actual weight of the fish...

BYAP sell some small digital hanging, handheld scales. Good for a quick check on weights when pulling fish out. But a good set of digital scales are a must so we dont miss a gram of hard earned fish (or in my case fat!)
