All the roots in my grow bed have intertwined. In hind sight, I should have expected this. Any ideas how i can remove one plant with out hurting the others?

One way is to cut plant at the level of the growbed and throw in a handful if worms.

Just cut around it with an old bread knife - cutting some of the roots of other plants isn't going to do any massive damage.

Alternatively, do as Faye suggests and simply cut the plant off at the base and let the worms take care of the old roots.

Yep and after a couple of weeks or so you will be able to just pull the stump out easily.
