They are a bit thinner but they don't say fish safe. The thicker liners say fish safe. I wanted to use these in my GBs.

Good price but are they ok in the GB?

This is a discussion i had with a Pond liner supplier
"As discussed over the phone, the cost of a 13m x 8m 0.75mm LLDPE pond liner will be $1070 plus GST and freight."
This would make a the pond liner be 104 sq mtrs in total so when you look at it around $10 a sq mtr but it is the .75mm not the .5mm or the really thin cheapy stuff.... this stuff also has a 20 yr warrenty on it for sun as well Im pretty sure it was 20 yrs...
this pond liner would make a pond 1mtrs deep x 6mtr across x 11 mtrs long ....which under QLD fisheries you would then need a license as it would be over 52 sq mtrs of surface area.....
SO if you went 1.5 mtrs deep x 5mtrs wide x 10mtrs long that would get you a total of 50 sq mtrs of surface area which then allows you to be under the licensing size... ....
also when you think of the water holding capacity it would be a 75,000 ltr fish tank at 100% so you would quite easily fit 70,000 ltrs max

The thing with the pond liners is the fact that if the ground work is not done very good ie small rocks create a serious amount of damage so you also need to factor in fine sand as a thin protection layer And be able to keep all animals ie dogs cats out .... Hope this helps

I was planning on using them only in grow beds, I have a 45 mil for my 4k Liter tank. These are only gonna be for grow beds. I'm just wondering if they are SAFE as in they ain't gonna kill fish or harm anyone eating the vegies. I'm sure this an opinion type answer, but I'm just wondering if anyone else would buy these if they were in the market for pond liners. Two of them will take care of my current grow beds so I figured since they are a great deal they may be questionable.
