Hi all,
Thanks everyone for the help so far. I've got a half 55 gal barrel GB, with a 1.25 inch drain in the bottom. I plan to put a 3/4" uniseal in it and push a 3/4" pvc pipe through. Then make a loop siphon form that. I plan to cover the outlet hole (and part of the 3/4" pvc pipe that is sticking into the GB) with a 2" pvc pipe with holes drilled in it as a gaurd.

Question: Will the 3/4" pcp pipe stay in place just pushed through the uniseal? Or do I need to do something to secure it so it doesn't slip or move? And if so, what do people do to secure it?

Thanks. I'd like to get this thing right before filling the GB with rocks.
