Can anyone please tell me this is safe to use. http://youtu.be/0vXYuaG4kc8 It looks ok to me but I'm not very scientific I'm afraid Just seems it might be a safer way to dechlorinate tap water. I'm surprised how alkaline my tap water is too. About 8 is that normal ? Huge learning curve for me ha ha |

Yep, Vitamin C is effective in dealing with Chloramines... If you water is just chlorinated... then sunlight (UV)... and aeration... will off gas the chlorine in a matter of hours... |

Thank you RupertofOZ so in fact if I'm cycling my tank I need not worry about dechlorination. That make life much easier and a little cheaper also. |

No need what so ever... if you're fishless cycling Peter... even if your initial source water was chloramined... If the latter, you might need to address it once you have fish.. and requirement for top ups... |
