I was down in Florida, visiting the fiance's dad in St. Petersburg, and mentioned this growing hobby/way of life/obsession and my new found interest in it. Wouldn't you know it... the very next morning, there's a big article in the Sunday St. Petersburg Times about aquaponics! Here's the online version. I'm sure this type of thing is growing more and more common in the US now that the NYT article has come out, but I just thought the timing on this one was too good not to mention. |

Thanks for the heads up about that article!!!! Morning Start Fishermen has been around a while (where I went to get my tilapia) but I've never taken any of their classes. Their methods are DWC which is unlike what most of us here do but still, it's getting the word out. |
