I just went to the site again ..... some call that site a "conspiracy theory" site .... but the laws they are considering in committee (HR 875 and S 425) aren't theory, they're fact!

Kinda silly since it wasn't the farming practices that necessarily caused any of those outbreaks but the handling of the food after growing. Roasted peanuts had to have been contaminated after roasting since the roasting would have killed the salmonella. So it's kinda putting the cart before the horse to regulate the farming. Then again, I only read the quick statement and listened to the one video so don't actually know the whole story. It does sound like big business trying to secure their hold on the market though.

I guess all the more reason to grow your own food as, where and when you can.
