Nothing like seeing it live ,, seen it many times in Vietnam , Thailand Laos and Cambodia. Amazing places to travel , especially if you are willing to get away from the tourists areas. Helps when you have a little Vietnamese and Thai / Laos language as i do. Get out there people ,, the world is a truly amazing place. Forget the blinken Eiffel tower and New York city ,, there are so many more wonderful things to see and they are just next door to us,.....,,anyone else been to Angkor Wat ?? Drainage systems before London or Paris ..... water flow organised so get two crops a year of rice ,,,AMAZING. |

Sure do at the 5 star hotels ..... so I'm told. Ask for Lao Khao in Thailand or Loas ,, it will blow your socks off. In Vietnam go the fresh Cobra blood ,, for the next 24 hours your in a diffefrent world ,,LOL. |

Missed that one but may have seen it some years back, Was there a boat with a water flowthrough hull collecting the fish for the fish factory? Ingenious, yes, but with all that people living there above the fish cages and dumping everything into the water below would put me off their product. |

That sounds like the one I have seen Steve S, My thoughts were the same, pretty clever stuff but no way I would want to be eating the fish |

I am sure that our practice of dumping both effluent and industrial contaminents into the sea, then harvesting the fish from the coast is far more sound. Unfortunately the Mekong Delta will, with increased production, get beyond its capabilities to flush properly. At the moment can you really rely on any food source other than what you produce yourself? |

I saw that program , it was the one with the big boat with the flwo through hull thing two thoughts I had though - why was he still drying te fish food on the floor in the living room ( if I tried that I'd be dead ) , and Im sure theres a reason , but why not cook more food in one go , it seemed the whole day was taken up cooking fish food and yeah - after seeing where they live - on TOP of their fish .. I wouldnt want to be eating that |
