Yes. I heard about Tuak today. Apparently they make it from Palm oil fruit too, and it's even worse.
"ensure you have 2 weeks for recovery, and a good clean bathroom within reach" was the advice I was given.

How's it going Dasun?
I'm here in Sabah now. It's a beautiful country. I'm staying in Lahad Datu, which is nice, but everything is palm oil trees. I would like to see some real jungle, perhaps the Orangutans.
How's your system coming along? It's been a long time since we've heard from you.

Hiya KP, too bad yeah we missed communicate and shame  we didnt manage to meet during your visits here in Sabah.

My system recently undergo total 'overhaul' due to a very bad incident while I was out for just a day. Some'thing' disturbed my system which resulted heavy leakage on the fish tank. Unfortunately I came home too late - all fish died (all Tilapia of adult palm size)

Due to area limitation I came up with a new smaller system using a 2' X 4' aquarium and 2 1.5'X2' grow bed filled with pea gravels. It runs for six months and produce reasonably good supply of okra. My tomatoes doesn't bear fruit at all :( . THis new smaller system are powered by just 1 tilapia fish :). I know he is very lonely but this is just a test.. will be getting a smaller type of fish called 'karook' here in my place. Very strong fish, one may left in completely dry area and still survive in good health after 6 hours.

At one time I was seriously thinking of doing Msc program on AP.. still considering.

I will actually be going to Melbourne in this August (11-21) for a winter holiday, but I really hope to be able to visits any running AP in nearby area. Anybody cares please?

Thank you.

(Re-posted from outbox)

Hi Hamish,

There will be ... 15 of us from here.. 9 adults and 6 children below 5 yrs old.. however not everyone will be going around together for every visits.

Generally, we will be staying in with my brother at the address I gave earlier. He has been studying in Melbourne for 5 years pursuing his doctorate. He may be able to bring us to the right area for shopping and visitations, but if you like to give some tips/advice.. certainly it will be better for us to make the decision later on.

Let say that my group will dedicate 6 hours for AP visitation (we can spend longer time if needed :)), how would you recommend the itinerary for us? We are planning to charter MPV but we don't mind to go by train or other recommended public transportation.

Ahh if the snow aren't available.. that would be too bad for us.., but we can always go for the kangaroo and many other wonders and interests in Melbourne :)

Just in case, this is my bro's mobile no : +61415654171, he is Clarence.

I look forward to meeting you too Hamish.

Thanks again.

Val
