Over the last couple of days we've been working on a new system. Here are a few pics, shown off by Joker our mascot.. We will be getting some proper steel legs for it very soon, bricks are only temporary.

500L drain tank, plenty of sump space to look at expanding perhaps with some extra vertical add ons NFT or similar.

Handy viewing window in the side of the 1000L tank, great if your a dog or if you have small people..

Extra growing space on the surface of the fish tank with easy to slot in plant "6 packs", we'll cover most of the surface with these to keep the fish happy, cut down evaporation, and increase plant production. We still have a gap at the front for feeding, and the mesh can be lifted easily if need be..

Made to fit into narrow spaces.

Here you can see silvers on the bottom of the tank, the SLO is going to have some more holes drilled in the base because leaves are catching, and see how perfectly the puts fit in the mesh and sit just in the water..

We'll be playing around with it a bit more over the coming weeks, as we figure out more things to improve with it...

Nice. Does the fish tank have a sloping conical floor?

Na it's just a flat base, had to lift it up off the ground to get some more height. Originally we were going to use a 250L tank for the drain but figured we needed to go bigger.

I like the idea.

What about your GB vol to FT vol ratio though ? Adding more GBs as spokes ?

Do u have total size measurements for the length and width?

Looks to be designed for narrow areas but could be added onto easily enough. GB to FT ratio , just tell user to stock to growbed capacity, and explain why :)

Yeah just stock fish to the bed size/plants no matter what the fish tank size...

Dunno the full actual size yet, will have to measure it......

Hi Joel looks good,

What size air pump are you running?

Is your SLO an airlift or run by the water pump?

Cheers.

Cool, was just curious. That's essentially what I'm doing - there's no way I'm ever going to get 12,000L of GB space :D

It's running on a water pump with the air stones just hanging down next to the SLO pipe, one of our AC/DC air pumps.

Does the air stone thro much water into the air(onto the mesh).

Bigger holes cut into into the PVC above the water line will help if there are a lot of leaves getting into the water. The SLO in my smaller tank has the water go over the top of the T if I let too much water go through the tanks or a fingerling tries to swim through the pipe.

Looking good Joel cp seems the way to go i see you use 90 mm pipe excellent
seeing you are selling systems to make it easier to see the junk rising put an elbow at the top of the center pipe and put your tee [ top open just before the water exits the fish tank ]
