I've been hard at it for the last few weeks turning the IBC of Aquaponics manual, into a website.

The pdf download was great and all, but it was hard to update without a graphic designer on hand, plus as a website it's a little more accessible.

It's by no means finished, I've only put up about 1/4 of the members systems and some of the information within the site still needs to be expanded on.. But it's a handy reference spot for new people to learn a little about AP...

Fantastic work Joel.

2 things i noticed. I think you should use your name in the footer instead of EB. Just my opinion though.

Also why are the donations in USD? You are donating yourself short :P

Also after making a donation the site gives an SSL error. Paypal trys to return you to a https: site.

Footer, yeah, just as soon as I figure out how to change it I will... :lol: Man it's been a learning curve... :lol:

US$ I dunno, our $ is on the way down a bit... Most of the people that are visiting for info now-a-days are from the US.. Generally about 2:1.

Try reading the new IBC of aquaponics site on your mobile phone, it's responsive, so it changes automatically depending on what you viewing it on, computer, tablet or phone..

Yep, working on a new magazine website ATM that will have a member log in where you can download any editions you've paid for at any time. Ahh, do you mean an online viewing of the magazine? That wouldn't be a bad idea..

Working on a new BYAP website as we've had so many troubles recently with hacking etc.. Then there's the separate BYAPshop site which will probably be finished in the next couple of weeks.

its running wordpress, my advice would be to keep it up to date, wordpress is targeted by hackers a lot.

Not overly familiar with wordpress but to change the footer will be a global setting, not on each page.

on the main systems page you have a speeeeling mistake

Please do not change the format of the forum if you are upgrading, so many sites try to make them selfs like Facebook.

I second that, I like the forum software you are using now. I would really hate to have it turn into a "social networking" site that really only lets you see what happened in the last few hours and doesn't really let you read things in order from the beginning if you wish.
