Anyone happen to know off hand whether you can stream youtube videos in a pdf document?

I'm in the middle of adding some features to the document like a link on every persons page that can link the reader straight to the relevant forum thread. Some one likes what they see of an IBC system and wants more info, click the button and the thread opens up in a browser.

Then of course there are those who have also made youtube videos and it would be great to link them directly as well so that the video will play in the pdf directly, a little like how it works in the forum..

Would be nice to also include a couple of pages through out the document that might just be a page with some of the best IBC videos on youtube..

If anyone knows any particularly good vids, please give some links so we can include, assuming we can make this work...

hahaha.. Seems I'm always wanting to push technologies to their limits.. Of course you should be able to stream video in a pdf document....

The first video requires the full (paid) version of Adobe PDF.

Not sure about the application for downloading YouTube Videos.

Only if we can get some she copies printed as well..

We plan on leaving a bit of a gap for access, we learn;t all about fish access with our first balcony systems, the access holes were no where near big enough. We have now made the holes a lot larger.

Hey you reckon that's hard, imagine trying to manoeuvre a net through these little holes. A rotomoulder giving it a go, but without a lot of experience.

Cool, I've worked it out can I have my billion now..? Please.....

Some obviously brilliant guy called Joel, created a plugin/widget that will do it, however I think that perhaps it may not be the go for us, I've been reading through a lot and I think that having it work over many versions of adobe and other third person pdf readers is probably a bit better than having a document with a few more bells and whistles but it only works in the latest version of acrobat..

I guess part of this decision comes from already having stock standard pdf magazines we release, and knowing the number of people we get enquiring about those and "how to get them to work". There would be a much larger percentage of people struggling to open an "all singing all dancing" pdf, and many might just give up and bypass it.
