Murray posted tonight that he's already seeing declining water quality in his DWC... due to lower flow with the lower wattage pumps... and notes that is in a "lightly fed" system...

I think a constant flow with ample flow will be best

DWC is probably more sensitive to flow.... but you might be able to compensate with additional filtration...

going to do a swirl and add a siphon without the cap so it will take the water from the bottom, not just leak over the top

anyways, enuff hijacking - bring on more results from the trials :)

There's something a bit weird about the photos above these ones, they just look a bit too green..

yeah I was actually wondering if you had a different camera. It looks like someone has changed the settings and increased the colour saturation.

You probably have an (a)uto, and a (P)rogram setting on the camera and the program is set to a different light temperature. It probably thinks it's adjusting for indoor use under fluros in those more vibrant pics.
