Sorry I know that a lot of you have beautiful 12V backup power supplies with/without air compressors etc but I'd like to know if anyone has or seen in use the Ocean Free Air pump 300L/Hr twin outlet units as its the size I'd like to start with as it can be used to transport fish as well as when the power goes out. Have a 1000L IBC FT and hoping to have trout fingerlings soon and my venturi will suffice but this is from Queensland and is it better to buy from over East or is it just as much risk as eBay? Haven't come across any here in Perth as asked they are out of stock. I don't want a 12V battery setup at this stage.

Hi Steve,

It is a bit pricey for a 12V air pump that you would only use a couple of times a year, you would be better off with a
Hailea ACO-003 DC 12V Air Pump from eBay for under $50. The Hailea could be set up as your system's 12v backup air supply and removed when you needed to transport fish.
