Does anybody know of an air pump that can be used with electrical outlets?

I would have thought it had been more difficult to find an air pump which didn't require a power outlet.

I assume he meant a DC powered air pump. And yes, there are some, but more expensive.

Pretty much anyone that sell fishing tackle will carry a battery operated air pump. They use it to keep bait alive. Most tropical fish stores will carry it as well.

I suggest buying the Penn brand pump which has an electrical that will turn on the pump if power fails. Its good to have a backup O2 source incase you loose power. It’s only about $15 USD, two DD battery will run it for about 36hrs.
