Does anyone know of any AP'ers using a Bedini motor/generator to charge their batteries in their backup power system?

I have built quite few of the different version Bedini Battery chargers over the last 10 years or so...... Bedini Battery chargers are great, and make batterys better and better and last longer.....

I am not charging AP backup batterys with one yet, but plan to do so soon.....

There are 2 young men helping me build stuff, and learn electronics, that have been building Bedini projects lately, learning how they work....

We currently have some SSG 12VDC 4" Fan charger's, charging some small motor cycle size test battery's, and will get some larger 24VDC 6" Fans to adapt to SSG's, and run a fleet of them from a solar panel, in my greenhouse circulating air, while keeping Golf Cart size battery's charged.....

We also currently have a small solid state fig.33 SG-cap pulser battery charger that we are testing on a motor cycle size battery......

Sounds promising. Have you made any videos or anything?

I'm interested in seeing which versions you've built. So far, I've only built the original single coil bike wheel type.

I would like it to be more compact for the greenhouse so I was leaning toward building a solid state version. Have you experimented with the solid state version to see if it would work as well or better than the wheel version?

Keeping it short, Bedini motor has been doing the rounds since 1980's.
If it worked someone would have hooked one up to a solar invertor and made a fortune feeding into the grid.

These Treated Copper, Alum, Magnesium battery's are REAL Energizer Bunny's and are still running the circuit, where the same amount of AA battery's would have died month's ago....... :think:

just add distilled water every once and a while, and they keep going and going and going.......

We have not made any videos of the Fan chargers at this time. Once We have some larger SSG Fans running and charging some golf cart batt's in my green house, I had planed to post a video here on BYAP. Just been real busy trying to make some extra $$$$, so that i can afford to build the AP Backup system

The Wheeled Versions work better than solid state versions, because it is harder to tune the solid state versions to get the correct wave form shape. but the solid state versions do work if tuned correctly.......

Have you ever built a Bedini ANYTHING....... I Get REAL Tired of arm chair critics who have never built a Bedini Energizer of any kind, saying they don't work. They DO WORK, they charge Battery's GREAT and Make Battery's last longer and longer and longer on a given load, and WILL NOT Ware Out a battery the way a standard DC charger does, thus increasing the useful Life Span of the battery's.

The Basic Versions are NOT OU, Bedini has said this many, many times, but has shown that with certain modifications they can be made self running......
I will NOT Debate this, as I KNOW WHAT I HAVE SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES.......... Build one and test it your self, or SHUT UP and GO AWAY........

Isnt the energizer just a battery desulfator?
I know many people who swear by them. I even ordered some in once to sell to some clients, but we had a 30% fail rate which was unacceptable for us.

I dont understand how they got an OU claim.
The problem is that too many website have promised OU with these that just isnt true.
I read one somewhere saying that one Bedini device can charge 4 batteries with just one battery.

You cant blame people for being sceptical RS.
It is no different to ap4u destroying aquaponics for people by making false claims.

The energizers are more than desulfator's They re plate the Lead with finer and finer crystals making the battery's better and better the more the energizer is used, so that the battery will last on a given Amp load as much as 30% longer than when brand new.

Some of the very early commercial models from Renaissance Charge, had some problems with a component dieing, that has been worked out, and they should run for a very long time now, I own several different Renaissance Charge models, and only had trouble with one of the first models, and they warranty replaced it and everything is fine with the new one

yes I can understand some Scepticsim, but can not stand someone who has never built or used one saying they don't work for their claimed use of charging battery's to better Load times than they were before and lasting far longer in service than Standard DC charged Batterys........

As far as the charge 4 battery's with one, I have done this with a set of garden tractor battery's that had been extensively conditioned by cycle charging and discharging them 25+ times with a wheel SG cap pulser circuit back in 2006 with one of my early circuits, that i gave to a friend to test on his batterys

it can be done, but it takes some patients to super charge the Battery's to the point that they will do it

one of the others things that the energizers do, is shorten the charge time by 20 to 30%, and the 4 hour standing Voltage is over 13.V where a fully charged standard DC charge is 12.6V to 12.7V.

I have seen Energizer charged battery's run the load at 13V+ for an hour before going below 13V and another 4 hours to get below 12.9V, show me any other DC charger or desulfator that can do that......

I saw a woman being put into a cage once, and then they covered the cage and when the removed the cover she was a lion. I saw that with my own eyes.

There are some people out there who go a long way out of there there way to trick people with the eventual aim of attracting investors. I think the bendini one does so by showing an increase in voltage going into a system at the expense of current, but it's easy enough to discover how it's done, google is full of answers.

They really haven't, but always willing to be proven wrong, I'll give you AU$50,000 for a working model. I can swap the working model for that Nobel prize I've always wanted the day after I receive the device.

I make that same offer to anyone out there.

They really, really, don't work and are an internet scam designed to part people with their money. Cognitive dissonance will compel the punter to buy the kit when their own DIY version doesn't work quite as well as the advertised one. The cool thing about giving away designs that anyone can make that NEARLY work, is that we think that with only a 1% improvement in efficiency, it WILL work.

It's a scam designed to part people with their money and the easiest way to test a scam is to call the police or in my country the Commission of fair trade and report it. They already know about it, they know it's a scam, they know how the scam works and what is really going on with the electronics, but like the banking scams and most other scams internet based, there is little they can do.

They really, really, really, really don't work.

I will ask you, have you ever built a Bedini anything, or used a commercial R-Charger.....?

I will NOT Stand for some one calling the chargers a SCAM......
The chargers work perfectly well for charging battery's, and make them BETTER THAN NEW......
They take Less time to charge,
They last longer on a charge,
They do not ware out from sulphnation, increasing life span
Increased 4hr Standing Voltage after a charge,

What more can you ask for in a battery charger..... THEY DO WORK and it PISS's ME OFF when PPL that don't know shit about them, POPS off that they don't work for charging battery's and making battery's better and better the more cycles they are used.

I know John Bedini and Rick Friedrick personally, and will NOT let You or any else disparage them as scammers. They are NOT claiming that any of the commercial units sold, are OU in any way........

and as far as a self runner...... NO One that has REALLY done IT, is going to take you up, as that is just asking for trouble from the PTB's...........

I built it, I ran it, I know what it did, I saw it do what it did, and I measured it..... so you can believe me or not. I will NOT DEBATE this.....

By "self-running", it is meant that the motor has an auto switch circuit to swap the source and charge battery.

I have yet to see any bogus claims made by Bedini and I have yet to see anyone claiming that they were scammed by Bedini. It seems that you really haven't looked into this at all.

so you can "fully" charge 4 batteries from 1 battery, all of the exact same capacity ?
Is that what the claim is ?

If so, can you then charge another 4 batteries from those 4? so then you have 16 batteries fully charged ?
Has anyone tried this? and if so do you have a record of all the respective battery capacities ?
