I got the first of three of the Taotronics lights last night. That sucker is bright. My only complaint is that the cord it comes with is a tad short. Luckily they are universal cords, so swapping them out for longer ones is easy. Most of the bulk in the lights is for airflow, the fan pushes a good amount of air through it. It is funny, after working in the light, everything looks green for a while. The oregano plant looks black under the light, the basil not so much, but it think with a little time under the light it's chlorophyll level will rise.

Hi
Day 14
The seedlings have reached the two leaf stage. Germination very good and growth even.
I have decided to plant out 12 and leave 12 for another 7 days.
With the light source at 10 cm I think the effective area is 25*25 cms.

Hi BenBrewcat
To make them easier to move.
The eventual aim is to sell, a bunch of living watercress, at the local market.
Lack of space forces me to use a NFT tube system.
The idea is they will be grown on in clay until there are sufficient roots to move them to the NFT tubes.
As it were 14 day germination
7 to 21 day nursery
Then move on to NFT for grow out and market.
That’s what the plan on the back of this cigarette packet says.
