I am looking for some ideas.

There are probably easier methods than a washing machine.

none of those links are any good anymore.

3rd one works, but need to register for pics.

Its nice to know they are easier methods out there, but I am interested in converting a washing machine because it is what I have. I was thinking
1 cut a hole in the top and let the water feed into the drum and cut a hole in the side to drain out
2 line the inside of the drum with mesh
3 rewire the mashine that when its cloged to do a dump out.

I have never worked with washing machines so was hoping someone with experience can spot any obvious (or not so oblivious) flaws in my proposed design/up cycle.
