where abouts is she F&F? We dont have much in the way of vege in at the moment so it doesnt look much. Thought there was a distributor for Murray on the outskirts of Adelaide or was that Murray Bridge or Goowla. Could be wrong. anyway she is welcome to have a look at ours |

Hi KE, had a visit from Snowwhite today. We have sent her home with some slush from the bottom of our growbeds. They are suffering from high PH, as we tend to have low ph we couldnt really help out much. They are going to join this forum so hopefully someone may be able to help out. They have a 1000lt system with 40 silver perch. ph sitting at around 7.6 -7.8. apparently they havent peaked with an ammonia spike yet. system is about 8 wks old. |

RupertofOZ wrote: What were you using for your media Jamey?? Blue Metal Aggrigate, first batch i got was more like roadbase than aggrigate prob full of lime stone or somthing, took a lot of washing. Next batch after that wasnt too bad..... different supplier plus we had 5 inches of rain the week before i got it and he grabbed it off the top for me so it was pretty clean. Sticking with clay now near 12 months in now and the system sits at 7.4 so i guess its not that bad now |

I'm happy to give them some of my ph if they want, it's around 5 (it's probably lower than that but the urine testing machine at work doesnt go lower). If I only knew how to harvest ph
