ginger beer was the drink of choice on the evening. been too buggered to drink since then :( we still have no power and no water, and the fish are dying. the gennie doesn't like running for days at a time :(

I had to bury 50 jade perch, all about plate size. Spent this morning cleaning system and getting ready for more fish now that power is back on in Cairns. Should be getting some barra in the next day or so

No damage with us in Kuranda, just got tired of bucketing water through the system every hour for two and half days. happy to report the 5 jades we have made it through. Pity about most of the plants but seeds have already been planted:)

Sure hope everyone is Ok. Having suffered two weeks of power loss after Hurricane Katrina, I can relate. Had no fish in tanks at the time. Was able to maintain pond DO with tractor powered aerators. Generators kept the freezers running. Hang in there my friends. :support:
