I am thinking about doing OcSober for the 2nd year in a row.

As a Fairly Heavy drinker i feel it is my duty to give something back.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in running as a BYAP Forum Group??

If any Mods or Admins have any qualms that's ok... however it would be good to see some of you jump on board.

its only 4 days to go til the event short notice i know but its a good cause and i'd love to raise some money as a group :)

http://www.ocsober.com.au/ This is the link, i am happy to start the group unless a mod/admin wants to do it. anyone who is interested please reply in here :)

sorry about the short notice again.

I am trying to build up ammonia levls in FT with Pee, so this requires me to drink at least a 6 pack of coopers or half a bottle of rum per night.
Shit maybe I do need to be in on this. :drunken:

Sorry, not me either...

October is AFL & NRL Grand finals, Phillip Island Moto GP and Bathurst...

November requires a maintainence regime in order that you don't go into Decemeber and Xmas cold turkey and end up asleep after dinner...

January, February and March... being the hottest months require increased fluid intake for the sake of good health...

April is Easter, and more particularly Anzac day....

May is for harvesting your summer fish and last minute BBQ's before winter sets in...

And June through to October requires a degree of intake ... to keep the blood warm and flowing... and to keep the boredom of winter away...

What's that leave... :dontknow:

Just had a look at the OcSober site. You can buy a 1 day leave pass for $50 so I could probably get through the month for $1550 :D

I've already been off it for 6 weeks in a weightloss program. and as soon as that finishes, i'm off to Darwin to celebrate turning 30 with some uni mates.

How many anti drinking months are there now. dry july, ocsober, and isn't there one in Feb or march too?

I had 3 months leading up to Christmas off the grog, ir not one drink, last year. Come Christmas, I had one beer and passed out. :shifty: Never again. Life is too short to be sober.
