I was down at the agri supply store and they've just gotten their hands on a Grow More Seaweed extract can, but its a 2 litre can! With my teeny weeny 75 Liter FT, same size ST and GB, system won't consume that for a loooonnnggg time, I figure not more than one cup a month. How long will that can be good for use? Would refrigerating it help...?

What size packaging do you guys buy your seaweed extract in?

2 ltr bottles. Its good to add to sprays etc. Also look around for Dipel. Its a fish safe spray.

I got a case of 1 gallon jugs of maxicrop last year, so far none seem to have gone bad and I've been keeping them out in the shed so not even air conditioned, let alone refrigerated.

Probably worth while and if you feel you need to use it up quicker, it does make a good foliar spray or additive to water the dirt container plants too.

It should last the distance abdul, if anything comes out of suspension just give the container a damn good shaking

"Dipel" is a brand name Abdul... Dipel contains Bacillus Thuringiensis, a naturally occurring bacteria. If you can't find "Dipel".... look for something that contains BT... the bacteria...

I take it it is AP safe but is it truely organic then? And what does it do, just add potassium?

I presume you're talking Maxicrop Abdul.... yes quite high in Potassium, low in Nitrogen...

But high in nearly all trace elements... in a naturally chelated form that makes it perfect for foliar feed or directly into the tank... hence it's benefit..

And totally organic.... extracted directly from kelp/seaweed....

Dipel is just a bacteria Abdul... used to treat green caterpillar investations...

It doesn't contain any levels of Potassium, or other trace elements...

Nah... to treat aphids... you need to deal with the ants...

Ants farm aphids...
